Checking out the Firewalls of your System

Before you call the customer support of your ISP and start complaining about a sudden slow down or loss of Internet connection, it would be wise to cover all the bases of your computer setup before doing so. Sometimes, we have to consider factors like the firewalls we install to protect our computer. We may have overlooked a certain configuration which may be the only problem.

It is normal for us to blabber at customer service representatives of their poor service. While this is not to defend poor service on their part which happens a lot, we just have to make sure we don’t up looking the bad guy by making sure we have all bases covered.
